At St Mary's, we have implemented the ‘Successful Futures’ Curriculum for Wales. This has replaced the National Curriculum for Wales (2008). Our children are at the heart of the curriculum with 4 purposes at its core. Our traditional 'subjects' have been replaced with Areas of Learning Experiences (AoLE's) outlined below.

The aim of the new curriculum implemented across Wales is that all children will have the opportunity to develop as:

⭐️ Enterprising, creative contributors, ready to play a full part in life and work.

⭐️ Ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world.

⭐️ Healthy, confident individuals ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society.
